Leo has been on the board of RM Begg Homes since 1993. He was the Manager of the Commonwealth Bank in Kyneton for 18 years and worked for the bank for a total of 42 years. He has been and remains a dedicated fund raiser for many charities within the town. For recognition of his efforts he was awarded the Order of Australia medal in 1990.

The list of Leo’s achievements and committee memberships is extensive and cannot be covered in such a small space. Well loved and respected by the community of Kyneton and the surrounding area, Leo believes that through his commitments he has been able to accumulate a great knowledge in understanding and appreciating the needs of people at all levels. He also believes that all people should be treated as equals as they are all entitled to human dignity.
